On Thursday, January 30, 2025, Orchestra brought together the platform's customers for a new edition of its annual event, the Orchestra Club. A real meeting place for tourism professionals, this day provided an opportunity to take stock of the major trends in travel tech, from artificial intelligence to environmental responsibility, including the synergies developed within the Travelsoft group (Atcore, Eventiz, Orchestra, Orchestra, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Orchestra, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Traffics, Traffics, Travel Compositor, Travel Connection Technology, Travelgate and Travelsoft Services).
Market 2024: solid growth and inflation
Orchestra customers' turnover grew by 3.4% in 2024 on a constant basis (tour operators, distribution networks, OTAs, destinations). This performance was driven by the medium-haul sector and the rise in the average basket, despite a significant downturn in the long-haul sector.
Top destinations 2024
- France, Spain and Greece occupy the top positions on the podium.
- Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt are showing good progress.
- The Dominican Republic and Thailand confirm their attractiveness.
- On the other hand, Mexico and Mauritius are experiencing a setback.
Perspectives 2025: continued growth
The first trends for 2025 confirm the dynamics of the previous year: stability of the French market, continued growth in medium-haul, and continued decline in long-haul flights.
2024 on the tech side: automation and innovation
In 2024, Orchestra continued its sustained pace of innovation, with the deployment of 15 major versions of its platform. In total, 123 new features have been integrated, with the aim of optimizing the user experience. Significant developments include the automation of travel diaries, the sending of retargeting emails, the introduction of gift cards, the development of the Travelsoft Pay solution as well as new connectivity in the areas of transport and accommodation.
On the air side, Orchestra now offers direct connectivity with more than 40 airlines. The Lufthansa Group, including Lufthansa, ITA Airways, ITA Airways, Swiss, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines, will join the platform in 2025. In terms of accommodation, the integration of Travelgate opens access to millions of hotels and receptions directly from Orchestra.
Artificial intelligence at the service of Travelsoft Group platforms
The Travelsoft Group is intensifying its initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence in order to enrich the user experience and automate business processes. Several advances have been made: on the Traffics platform, a recommendation engine offers personalized hotels based on reservation history. On Orchestra, product criteria can now be automated, saving time and making offers more relevant. Travel Compositor offers natural language itinerary research, making it easy to plan complex trips. Finally, the integration between Orchestra and Travelgate will allow hotel contracts to be automatically loaded, considerably simplifying the management of the offer. These innovations demonstrate the group's desire to combine technological performance and operational efficiency in the service of travel professionals.
CSR: a carbon calculator for more responsible tourism
As part of its commitment to more sustainable tourism, Orchestra is preparing to launch a carbon calculator developed with Betterfly Tourism (FairMoove). This new solution will allow professionals in the sector to measure the environmental impact of the offers offered and to identify levers for improvement. This initiative is part of a fundamental trend, driven by the growing expectations of travelers in terms of ecological responsibility.
